WooMe, a new company launched in the UK this week, offers "an online version of speed dating," reports The Times of London. The site allows users to meet new people in one-minute bursts, for free, using webcams. At the end of the one-minute session, you enter feedback on the person you just "met" — if the ratings match up, and he liked you as much as you liked him, you have the chance to pay a minimal fee and get his contact info. While webcams aren't exactly the most flattering, the idea of seeing and hearing a guy speak — instead of just seeing a snapshot and reading a profile — seems attractive.
