Barry Manilow has canceled his appearance on The View, reports Entertainment Tonight. Via his website, Manilow explained to his fans that he's not showing up because he doesn't want to be interviewed by Elisabeth Hasselbeck. "It's really too bad because I've always been a big supporter of the show, but I cannot compromise my beliefs," he says. "The good news is that I will be on a whole slew of other shows promoting the new album so I hope you can catch me on those." We're guessing this is because Barry hearts Rosie O'Donnell, but maybe he also saw Hasselbeck's profile in the New York Post. [ET]
