Everyone knows that places with dress codes have them because they want to be able to prohibit a certain "element" from coming in and disrupting their xenophobic culture. Old rich white man clubs, for instance, often deny entry to men who aren't wearing jackets and ties, because the only kind of men who wear jackets and ties on a regular basis are old rich white men. Some clubs deny entry to people wearing "Timberland boots" and "big white t-shirts" because they don't want black dudes coming in and making off with all the women. But who is the Tyra Banks Show trying to keep out with their dress code?

As the call sheet from a guest who watched the show tape earlier this week attests, the Tyra Show's dress code is "STRICTLY ENFORCED," and, among the usual items - -t-shirts, ripped jeans, flip-flops — are some interesting choices. For instance: "sequins" "hats" "jogging suits" "velour pants" "busy patterns" "LOGOS of any kind."

Does this say to you what it says to us?

We thought so: Tyra hates Jewish bubbes! We urge you, Jezebel readers, to write the Tyra Show at the address below and insist Tyra STOP DISCRIMINATING AGAINST BUBBES NOW! Before she starts an embargo on reading glasses on beaded chains! Or coral lipstick! Or checking guests' pockets for tissues and sugar-free hard candies!
