Glamour editor Cindi Leive: The most conscientious of the ladymag editors? After 41 members of Congress sent letters to the editors of Cosmopolitan, Elle, Glamour, In Style, Vogue, W, Lucky and Marie Claire over their acceptance of "misleading advertising for deadly cigarettes" (remember Camel No. 9?), only Ms. Leive was kind (or freaked-out) enough to respond. So the Congressmen and women sent another set of letters, reports WWD, and this time, they've requested responses by Wednesday. From everyone. Maybe after they're done dealing with the federal government, Anna, Kate, Robbie, Kim, et. al can respond to our letter to them? We've been waiting for months! [WWD]
