Just in time for your post-lunch low: A new study finds if you drink one or more soft drinks a day (including diet soda), you have a 48% higher risk of developing heart disease factors. Of course, the American Beverage Association is pissed! "How can something with zero calories that's 99 percent water with a little flavoring in it ... cause weight gain?" asked a spokesperson. The study is inconclusive and the author of the study suggests we "consume in moderation and stay tuned." Well, now we really need a drink!
