Victoria Beckham: Coming to America, the one-hour "reality special" documenting Posh's acclimation to her new hometown of L.A., aired on NBC last night. Originally slated as a six-episode series, it's no wonder it was truncated to this one-off. Seriously, Posh is a pill. Her "reality" was about as genuine as her tits. And this is coming from a girl whose taste tends to hover in the lower left-hand corner of New York Magazine's Approval Matrix—normally I love crap like this. But unfortch, it didn't even qualify for "so bad it's good." It was just boring. For example, a good chunk of time was dedicated to watching Posh uneventfully sunbathe by her pool and run an errand at the DMV. But it wasn't a total wash. I mined some golden nugget moments that are in the player above, like when she "confronted" Perez Hilton, which is only noteworthy because it further demonstrates how much of an ass-kissy chode he is (as if you didn't already know). But really, the best part of the whole thing is the drunk old lady doing the dolphin sounds. Just watch.
