The day after Donald Trump was elected president, Jezebel published a list of charities whose work would be especially important under the new administration. The response was overwhelming.

Thanks to you, hundreds of thousands of dollars were raised for organizations dedicated to fighting for the rights of LGBT, immigrant, women, Native, minority, and disabled populations. Nationally, the ACLU’s donation page crashed that Friday, with the organization receiving over $7.2 million in donations, while Planned Parenthood received almost 80,000 donations, many of which were in Mike Pence’s name.

I heard from smaller organizations too—as of a couple weeks ago, Philadelphia’s Mazzoni Center which provides healthcare for members of the LGBT community raised over $46,000, with immediate gifts from over 300 people, and recurring gifts from 70 more. The National Immigration Law Center reported almost 2,000 new donations, and the Young Center for Immigrant Children’s Rights have raised over $40,000 from over 600 donors. As of a week ago, over 2700 women had pledged their intention to run for office through She Should Run.

On Giving Tuesday, a day that officially “kicks off the charitable season,” here’s a list of ten more deserving causes that need your support.
